- A Donor Mom’s Perspective on Donation
- In recognition of Donate Life Month.
Dawn’s daughter, Emily, was an eye, organ and tissue donor – giving the gift of sight to two people here in Wisconsin, saving the lives of six people through organ donation, and improving the lives of more than 60 people through tissue donation.
Tony Guzzardo, from Versiti Organ and Tissue, will be available to answer technical questions about organ, tissue and eye donation.
Speakers: Dawn Lyons-Wood,

To honor donor families, we will be collecting yarn for the Threads of Compassion knitting group, which makes comfort shawls to be given to family members as they say their final farewells to their loved ones. Please contribute two or more skeins of Red Heart yarn in a solid color of any variety.
Since the program will be online only, consider ordering the yarn from Amazon Smile and have the yarn shipped directly to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin’s office at 10909 W Greenfield Ave, Suite 201, West Allis, WI 53214. By designating the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin as your charity of choice at the start of your order, Amazon will make a charitable contribution to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin based on your total purchase amount.
The program is free but registration is needed.
