Kidney Adventures 2024
Thanks to your partnership, sharing, and investment, the 2024 Kidney Adventures campaign exceeded our stretch goal by raising more than $18,000 for National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW). These funds will be used to advance kidney health, educate patients, and promote organ transplantation across Wisconsin.
On July 27, 2024, we celebrated the conclusion of Kidney Adventures at the Summer Celebration in Madison. 50 supporters and friends of NKFW came together on the beautiful shores of Lake Monona in celebration of our kidney community. We extend a special thanks to our generous sponsors from Ardelyx and UW Health Transplant Center as well as all of our fundraising captains.

Spotlight on Life 2024
On World Kidney Day, March 14, 2024, more than 200 friends and supporters of National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW) gathered for the 2024 Spotlight on Life Gala in Pewaukee, WI. This incredible night brought members of Wisconsin’s kidney community together to celebrate more healthy years for kidney and transplant patients across the state. Thank you to the amazing sponsors and volunteers for bringing this event to life! Together, we raised more than $83,000 to support the mission and programs of NKFW.
The night would not have been complete without our emcee Elizabeth Kay (living donor and radio personality). Special thanks to our 2024 Spotlight Storytellers Michelle Schuerman, Sarah Weaver, and Dick Hanusa – by sharing your experiences of kidney disease and transplant, you give hope to our community.
