The 2025 NKF WISCONSIN RENAL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE is an opportunity for dietitians, social workers, nurses, dialysis technicians, and others to network, share best practices, and earn continuing education credits. This year, the conference will return to Madison at DoubleTree by Hilton – Madison East (4402 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53704) on Thursday, November 13, 2025 with a pre-conference reception on Wednesday, November 12. The day will offer content on current best practices, ethical considerations, and health equity.

The inaugural RARE DISEASE ROUNDUP will be held on Thursday, February 6 at Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield. Physicians and advanced practitioners are invited to attend.
The reception begins at 5:30. Renal pathologist, Dr. Alex Gallan, kicks off the dinner program with a brief presentation on FSGS. An interactive case-based panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Tripti Singh will then explore new treatment guidelines for IgA Nephropathy and Lupus Nephritis.

Summer Sizzler – Milwaukee
A Run/Walk with Donations Benefitting
the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin
Summer weather is on its way! The second Milwaukee 5K and 10K run/walk organized by Bodies Race Company, the Summer Sizzler, is on Saturday, July 30 at 8AM CDT. The run/walk will be held on an isthmus-like area off the shore of Lake Michigan. This event will coincide with the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin’s Cool Beans Adventure activities. However, a separate registration and fee is required for the Summer Sizzler. Enjoy an early morning run/walk and support the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.
Although the Summer Sizzler is not an exclusive National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin event, Bodies Race Company has selected the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin as its charitable organization partner for the event.
