National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to once again host our annual kidney screening event at West Bend Community Memorial Library. This FREE event will include a review of participants’ health history, basic vital signs, urine testing for participants with an elevated risk of kidney disease, and discussion with a medical provider. No pre-registration is necessary and no medical insurance is required. Results are processed while you wait.

Prior to the screening, you are invited to join Dr. Anna Gaddy of Froedtert & the MCW for a discussion on Chronic Kidney Disease at 10:00 AM on the first floor of the Library. This discussion is part of the West Bend Community Memorial Library’s Free Coffee Fridays Series. It is free and open to the public.

Gift of Life: A Green Carpet Affair – Kidney Awareness Fundraiser

National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to join Mike “BIGMMIKE” Bell and MTZ Charitable Organization, Inc. as a vendor and health screening provider at the inaugural Gift of Life: A Green Carpet Affair Kidney Awareness Fundraiser. The event is to be held at The Hub (2352 S. Park St, Madison, WI 53713) on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Thankful Hearts, Healthy Starts Health Fair

National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to join Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, among other community partners, at the Thankful Hearts, Healthy Starts Health Fair. The event will be held at the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center (5460 N 64th St, Milwaukee, WI 53218, USA) on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. No registration is required and the event is open to the public!

Come to Silver Spring Neighborhood Center for free flu vaccinations for ages six and up plus cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and kidney health screenings.

Kidney health screenings are offered in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin. (Screening takes 15 – 20 minutes. No preparation is needed.)

Get connected to community programs and services such as dental care, housing support, insurance enrollment and more. Food boxes will be handed out while supplies last.

The health fair is sponsored by the Froedtert & MCW health network, Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and other community partners.
