Living Donors Together and 1-Kidney Club will be hosting a gathering in the Madison Area on Sunday, April 28, 2024. This in-person event will be a casual afternoon of connection and conversations among living donors, recipients, advocates, and other members of the kidney and transplant community. We look forward to seeing you there!

For the first portion of our April meeting we will be joining a live webinar on Living Donation as presented by Dr. Scot Johnson, MSN, RN, NP-C of UW Health Transplant Center. Our normal discussion will follow after the presentation.
The presenation will address what living donation is and how one becomes a living donor. Dr. Scot Johnson, MSN, RN, NP-C is the Manager of Living Donation at UW Health Transplant Center and will provide insight into the living donation process, including what to expect, how to donate, and common barriers. This facilitated webinar is free and open to the public but RSVP is required to receive the access link.

The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to join our partners Running Rebels Community Organization and Safe & Sound in the LOVE, LIFE & WELLBEING Health and Wellness Fair.This community-centric event will highlight many forms of wellness including physical, mental and financial health. As part of the event, the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin will be conducting kidney health screenings.
Stop by and visit the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and check your kidney health. Participants in the KEEP Healthy screening will review their health history, have basic vital signs checked, urine testing for participants with an elevated risk of kidney disease and talk with a medical professional.
