ESRD Medicare Filing for Social Workers

Time: 12:00pm (CDT)

Do you want information on the latest ESRD Medicare information and specifics on how to help patients apply? Don’t miss this presentation by two Social Security Administration representatives!

This will be a presentation for social workers on some ESRD Medicare basic information, what forms are needed and steps for completing the application process. There will also be time reserved at the end for questions.

Living with Kidney Disease & Transplantation: Kids 12 & Under

This very special, free event is focused on helping young patients live healthy, fun-filled lives. Children, their families, and caregivers will have the opportunity to meet with physicians, dietitians, nephrologists, and other relevant healthcare professionals for a day of empowering education. Children will gain a better understanding of their bodies, and enable them to gain confidence in their health.

To keep everyone safe this virtual event will feature speakers for parents and fun virtual activities for kids. Registration will close Sunday, September 20 in order for program materials to ship.

The Illinois Council on Renal Nutrition is opening its day-long summit to dietitians and renal nutritionists in Wisconsin. Kilby Lake Campground Organ Donation Awareness Event

Kilby Lake Campground will be hosting the 14th Annual Organ Donor event on Saturday, August 15. The event helps raise awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation along with showing gratitude to those individuals and families having made organ and tissue donation. The event provides attendees the opportunity to share the joys and struggles of their personal donation experience. The highlight of the weekend is a picnic meal and silent auction of goods and services with all proceeds going to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.
