The inaugural RARE DISEASE ROUNDUP will be held on Thursday, February 6 at Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield. Physicians and advanced practitioners are invited to attend.
The reception begins at 5:30. Renal pathologist, Dr. Alex Gallan, kicks off the dinner program with a brief presentation on FSGS. An interactive case-based panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Tripti Singh will then explore new treatment guidelines for IgA Nephropathy and Lupus Nephritis.

March is National Kidney Month! Nutrition is a big topic when it comes to managing chronic kidney disease (CKD), and questions about dining out come up frequently. Renal dietitian, Jill Hoyt RDN, CD, of the Mayo Clinic Health Center, will offer guidance on dining out while managing CKD based on current dietary guidelines.
