Meghan Fay

Megan is an Organ Procurement Coordinator with Versiti Organ and Tissue. She speaks with families about organ donation and then helps promote optimal health of the donor to ensure recipients receive a well-functioning organ.

She attended last year's gala and was inspired to become a dancer. "The transplant community is one I am proud to be a part of. It is so powerful to be around others who are doing amazing things in this field and to hear stories directly from recipients about how donation has positively impacted their life."

Her dance career began at the age of 4 when she was in her first tap dance recital, dressed in a tooth fairy costume!

Megan enjoys working out, yoga, cooking, trying new restaurants, making people laugh, taking care of others, and "petting as many dogs as I can get my hands on". Her special talent is being able to consume large amounts of caffeine right up until the moment she goes to bed.

Meghan is from Two Rivers, Wisconsin and attended Viterbo University for Nursing.

Meghan's Partner Daniel Skyler

head shot of Daniel Skylar I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and started dancing in 2001 at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. I firmly believe that I have received the best ballroom training I could possibly have gotten anywhere in the country thanks to the continued opportunities provided for us.

I have taught for approximately 16 years now at the Milwaukee downtown location and love the camaraderie of the teachers and students. I cannot help but believe I have always had a family at the studio and have been able to count on my team for whatever I have needed.

I have always wanted to help my students gain a love of dancing and really enjoy training and helping my fellow teachers any way I can. Being certified as a dance director has definitely been because of my passion for teaching. This leads me to sharing the most rewarding experience I have on a day-to-day basis; my students are inspired to forget about their problems and just dance!

My accomplishments as a professional dancer include becoming a Fred Astaire Rising Star Champion along with becoming a finalist in the Rising Star division at Emerald Ball, one of the largest independent competitions in the U.S!
