Providing help and giving hope. That’s what the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW) has been doing for 45 years.

Founded by patients, family members, and medical professionals in 1968, the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin has been committed to helping people affected by kidney disease and their families, every day.

Our mission is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. 

Our vision is to be Wisconsin’s leading public health resource for anyone affected by or at risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD).

We are committed to reducing the impact of CKD through prevention and screening programs, professional education programsadvocacyliving donation and organ donor awarenesscommunity collaborations and support for kidney-related research.
