The Dialysis Journey – Learning Together

Attend the first Wisconsin dialysis learning and networking event offered as a partnership between the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery. The event is an opportunity for dialysis patients, family members, caregivers AND Milwaukee area dialysis unit staff to enjoy an educational afternoon and networking dinner. Healthcare professionals can earn continuing education units for attending. The Dialysis Symposium is an annual continuing education program coordinated by the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and other healthcare professionals organizations.This year's focus is "enhancement of safety practices and increased patient engagement achieved by collaboration of the dialysis team, patient caregivers, and the patient." Continuing education credits are available for social workers, registered nurses and dietitians.
